Costco Tire Service Center

This is about the tire shop, second time came here for just a tire balance which I paid for as I did not buy my tires here. Their prices for a balance are very good, but..... First time was last year sometime and when leaving I found one center cap missing, looked in the shop and it was lying on the floor. Went to pick it up and someone started yelling at me. I told them it was mine and they left if off. Second time was a few days ago, appointment was for 10:30 and I was early. I waited till 12PM before my car was done, sat on a lift for 20 minutes finished before they lowered it and let me go. Just checked to day and found all my nice special valve stem caps missing and in there place only 3 cheap plastic ones. Was just a tire balance.... Was on the phone with someone in loss prevention for over 30 minutes as he explained that they must have been taken elsewhere. I explained why would someone take nice ones and replace only 3 with cheap ones...I'm not convinced. My car is garage kept ALWAYS and I hardly ever drive it (why tires needed balancing).... Always liked Costco, been a member for decades but I will never do business with the tire shop again. I will spend more to get a prop

Costco always has good prices on their tires, but this review is mainly about them being honest. Just had new tires put on and when I got home, I realized my center cap on one of my wheels was broken. Obviously somebody saw this when they were putting the wheel back on, but nobody wanted to inform me about it. All they needed to say was hey sorry we broke your center cap and I would’ve been OK with that and just ordered a new one myself. People just need to man up when they do something wrong!

Very frustrating experience at Costco Tire Center. About a week ago, I came in to replace my front tires, gave all my car/tire details, and the employee ordered the tires for me. At my first appointment, after waiting 30 minutes, I was told the wrong tires had been ordered (not run-flats), and I had to pay extra to fix their mistake and schedule another appointment. Today was my second appointment. I was told it would take about 1 hour and 15 minutes, but after waiting over an hour, they called to say again that the wrong tires had been ordered. They only realized this after having my car the whole time. In the end, they found a run-flat tire that worked, so they completed the service the same day, but it still took another hour. I waited around 2 to almost 2.5 hours total. No apologies, no accountability, just excuses about “technical errors.” The only positive is the price, but the service is very unprofessional and a waste of time.

Wow! Had a new set of tires installed today for my old Mazda Miata at this tire center Could not be happier. Ordered them online and for less than the tires alone at Tire Rack, Costco had them in a few days and installed them while I waited. They were super professional and adhered to my specific instructions to hand install and tighten all the wheel nuts. As I had a horrific experience with a Firestone Center a year ago where they broke some studs, which led to a multi-day nightmare, I am pretty picky on how it's done since. The guys (and girl) at Costco were understanding, patient, caring, worked as a team and did an excellent job. I left extremely happy and would highly, highly recommend them for tires/tire service.

Good service and same day appointments available but took 2 hours to do a plug/patch for my tire. The process takes less than 30 minutes elsewhere. Is the delay just so that I can go shop and splurge? It worked… $17 for the nail plug and $300 for the Costco visit. Really do wish this was faster.
